ABOUT

Ado Hasanović is a Bosnian-Italian film director and film programmer based in Rome.

A graduate of the Sarajevo Film Academy and the Centro Sperimentale di Cinematografia in Rome, he works between documentary and fiction, exploring personal memory, irony and socially engaged narratives. His first feature documentary, My Father’s Diaries, had its world premiere at Visions du Réel and was shortlisted for the David di Donatello. He is a Berlinale Talents alumnus and a member of the European Film Academy and the Association of Filmmakers of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
